The design of Quadrotta meets Borbonese’s iconic OP suede.
For the 2025 Salone del Mobile, two stories of Italian craftsmanship come together to create a special project. From the dialogue between Calligaris and Borbonese — two brands that have traversed the 20th century and exported a vision of Italian elegance worldwide — the "Borbonese x Calligaris" Quadrotta armchair is born.

Just as the “Connected Worlds” theme of Fuorisalone 2025 invites us to reflect on how design can serve as a meeting point between different dimensions of everyday life, the collaboration between these two brands goes beyond the mere intersection of design and fashion. It celebrates the quintessentially Italian ability to merge tradition and innovation, highlighting the shared vision of beauty, harmony, and quality.
Quadrotta, with its balance of contrasting forms and styles, is reimagined.
Borbonese’s iconic OP suede envelops the soft backrest, harmonising with the chocolate leather seat and bronze metal frame, resulting in a design that is both unique and refined.

Materials and finishes
Completing the design, the chocolate leather seat creates a refined contrast with the enveloping backrest.
